[Hoppy Birthday] Kids Birthday Card

Is anyone surprised that I'm still making cards with this Simon Says Stamp August Card kit?! I needed a quick kid's birthday card for a party and this is my go to set for that! I used the green cardstock that came in the kit as the card front and cut two strips of patterned paper. I stamped and colored the frog with alcohol markers and propped it up on a yellow cardstock circle to make it pop against the green background.  I embossed the sentiment in white and  added googly eyes for a little extra fun and embellished with red enamel dots!  I entered this card in the following challenges: AAA Birthday: Game 31 Thanks for stopping by! [Hello Pumpkin] Multi Occasion Card

I have always loved the cute stamps from  Isabel Cristina Stamps ! I came across this freebie and decided to have some fun coloring it up for a Fall themed card! I'm still practicing my coloring skills and decided to use BOTH markers and colored pencils for this, and I have to admit, I think I found a new fave technique! I fussy cut the images and placed them on some kraft cardstock. Some of the pumpkins I propped up with foam tape for some dimension. To create a "grass" effect, I tore some patterned green cardstock and blended the edges with some distress ink. I embellished with some light blue pearl dots! Thanks for stopping by! I colored in this stamp with alcohol markers. I used my Cricut to cut out the word "thankful" in some copper glitter cardstock. It was blending in a little too much with the colors of the image, so I used white tissue paper to add a little textured base. Lastly, I embellished with some gold Nuvo drops! Thanks for stopping by! [Bella Bear] Winter Card

I loved this  Bella Bear  image from Polkadoodles, I just had to use 2 of them! I mirrored the image before printing to make a cozy bear pair :). I've been using alcohol markers so frequently, I decided to use colored pencils for this card! The "Blessings" sentiment is a free download from Polkadoodles!  I used a scrap plastic covering from one of my (many) packages to turn this card into an edge-to-edge shaker card.
