[Hello Pumpkin] Multi Occasion Card


 I have always loved the cute stamps from Isabel Cristina Stamps! I came across this freebie and decided to have some fun coloring it up for a Fall themed card! I'm still practicing my coloring skills and decided to use BOTH markers and colored pencils for this, and I have to admit, I think I found a new fave technique!

I fussy cut the images and placed them on some kraft cardstock. Some of the pumpkins I propped up with foam tape for some dimension. To create a "grass" effect, I tore some patterned green cardstock and blended the edges with some distress ink. I embellished with some light blue pearl dots!

[Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set,  Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card!     I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. All About Layering 3: AECP

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!! I was recently accepted into the Altenew Educator Certification Program and can’t think of a better way to start off the year!  I think anyone who is a floral lover knows that Altenew has some of THE best stamps, dies and stencils.
