[Happy Fall Y'all #2] CC Designs New Release

If you can't tell by now, I am ready for FALL! I wanted to create another card with the CC Designs New Release! CC Designs is the lovely sponsor this week at  Passionate Paper Crafters and Family Facebook Group ! Make sure to check out the Facebook Group for a special sale going on now! I wanted to do a 3 circle popout layout. I used my Cricut to cut out three circles to act as a frame for the stamps. I colored them in using my alcohol markers and fussy cut them out and arranged them in the circles. I used two patterned papers that I thought complemented each other well and embellished with some navy blue half pearls! Thanks for stopping by! [Happy Fall Ya'll] CC Designs New Release Promo

CC Designs is the lovely sponsor this week at  Passionate Paper Crafters and Family Facebook Group ! Make sure to check out the Facebook Group for a special sale going on now! This stampset is PERFECT for the fall season ahead. I love the images and variety of sentiments! I decided to use a few of the images and make a mini autumn scene. I colored in the images with alcohol markers and then fussy cut them out and arranged them. For the background, I inkblended yellow and blue distress ink using my SSS cloud stencil. I love how this turned out and especially love how all the colors play together! I entered this card in the following challenges: Creative Knockouts #418 Through the Purple Haze: #184 CCC Digi Challenge #129 No Patterned Paper Creative Moments Challenge #222 - Anything Goes Thanks for stopping by! [Happy Holidays] Holiday Card

Another lovely image from All Dressed Up for this card! I was still in the mood to play around with my distress oxides so I ink blended the background and stamped some fun white embossed elements.  I colored the image using colored pencils and mounted it on a patterned cardstock that had silver diagonal stripes. I used the "Happy Holiday" sentiment from a wooden stamp I had in my stash and used a piece of bow to embellish it! Lastly, added some winter-y sequins to top it all off! Thanks for stopping by! [Sending love] Multi Occasion Card

Rachelle Ann Miller is a wonderful sponsor over at the  Passionate Paper Crafters and Family Facebook Group  and graciously shared a freebie on her site! I love the sketchy doodle effect and decided to turn this into a mini card. I colored in the image with my alcohol markers and used Nuvo drops in pink to embellish the centers of the flowers. Pink opaque Nuvo drop for the flower centers for some added dimension I had this sentiment in my stash so I stamped it on some white cardstock and mounted it on a green cardstock. I love the simple clean effect of this card, so decided to keep it as is without extra embellishments! Thanks for stopping by! Follow me on  Instagram  for more cards, reels and crafty fun! Jill

[Never Grow Up] Sassy and Crafty Promo #2

Sassy and Crafty is the lovely sponsor this week at  Passionate Paper Crafters and Family Facebook Group ! We have lots of fun and a special discount just for this promo!  There were so many stamps to choose from- I decided on the  "Never Grow Up" stampset! I also chose the "Mermaid Tails" Stencil! I though this was perfect for many scenes, like beach, ocean or a fantasy/fairy theme like this card! The first thing I did was use Catherine Pooler Ink in "All that Jazz" and the "Mermaid" stencil to make the background. I used the stencil again and embossed over with a blue powder to give it some depth and dimension. I colored the fairy stamped image with alcohol markers and fussy cut it out. On some blue cardstock, I used silver embossing powder and stamped the stars and then stamped the sentiment in a black ink. I arranged the images on a pink cardstock for some contrast and attached it to a card panel :). Love how fun this card turned out! I ent...

[Quilter's Sampler] Thinking of You

I had this "Quilter's Sampler"stampset from PaperTray Ink in my collection and haven't played around with it recently so decided to give it a shot today. I stamped a pattern in black ink and colored it in using Prismacolor colored pencils. I cut it out and mounted in on some orange cardstock for some contrast. I decided to make the whole card panel a royal blue to complement the orange. I had this washi tape in my collection which I felt filled the blank space underneath the stamped image nicely. Lastly, I embellished with these enamel dots that I just bought and I love these almost as much as sequins. Almost :). Thanks for stopping by! [Fantasy: Cute Witch] DT: The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #272

Hey everyone! We have another lovely challenge at  The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog ! The theme for this challenge is FANTASY sponsored by  Chubby Mermaid . I chose this "Cute Witch Halloween" digital stamp and printed it in white cardstock. I colored it with my alcohol markers.  I looked all around my stash for the right sentiment, but couldn't find one. So I made my own! I took my embossing pen and wrote my sentiment and then embossed in gold glitter. Thanks for stopping by! Follow me on  Instagram  for more cards, reels and crafty fun! Jill

[One in a Mermaid] Multi Occasion Card

I came across this "Beautiful Mermaids" stampset in my collection from Simon Says Stamp. Gorgeous images and perfect for coloring! I made the background by tearing cardstock sheets. The white core of the cardstock really was the perfect touch when tearing, because it gave the effect of the white "foam" that the ocean waves have. I just loved this! I colored the mermaid images with my alcohol markers alongside with the fish, pineapple and starfish. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and propped it up with some foam squares! Finally, I embellished with sequins :) I submitted this card to the following challenges: Crafting Happiness Challenge #108 Simon Says: Heat Emboss Pixie's Snippets Playground - Challenge #409 613 Avenue Create:August 2021 - Challenge #8 Dare 2B Artyzy: August Thanks for stopping by! [No one like You] Multi-Occasion Card

I recently organized my clear stamps in a much more easy to find method (head over to my Instagram to see it) and I came across this lovely "Woodland Creatures" stamp set I had from HeroArts. I never used this to make a card so decided to finally put it to use! These mushrooms were colored with my colored pencils and I propped the blue mushroom with some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment (also from the stampset) and added it on some blue cardstock with foam squares. I am ALL ABOUT dimension! I decided to keep it simple and embellished with some Opaque white Nuvo drops!  I have entered this card in the following challenges: QKR Stampede-Anything goes ABMTTC Extra #August Challenge - Anything Goes Color It!Create It! Show it off! August Pixie's Snippets Playground - Challenge #408 - Ruby's Memory  Thanks for stopping by! Follow me on  Instagram  for more cards, reels and crafty fun! Jill

[UNFROGETTABLE] Edge-to-Edge Shaker

I do love shaker cards, and I've been seeing this edge-to-edge shaker card trend around and I just had to give it a try! It was actually much easier than I anticipated. I took the navy blue patterned cardstock that was included in my SSS August Card Kit and cut it down to about 5x6. I then cut an acetate sheet slightly larger than the cardstock and folded 3 edged down and taped them with double sided tape. In the open side, I added in my shaker elements (included in the monthly kit) . I taped it up and voila! Shaker element is done!! I stamped the frog and lilypad and colored in with my alcohol markers. I embossed the sentiment in white on green cardstock which I also used as the mounting for my front card panel! It was such a quick and easy card, I'll definitely be making more! Thanks for stopping by! Follow me on  Instagram  for more cards, reels and crafty fun! - Jill

[Sending Hugs] Patterned Paper Series #2

I wanted to share a super quick card using the Make-a-Pond stencil that I received in my Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit. I used the floral stencil and use two shades of pink of my Stampin' Up Ink spots and did a few flowers embossed in silver for a little shine.  Stenciling with my Make-a-pond stencil Another way I like to use patterned paper is the base for my dies! I have this alphabet die set and I die cut the word "hugs." I was originally thinking of a patterned pink paper, but I like the contrast the teal gives.  Using patterned paper for my dies! I stamped the "Sending you" sentiment from Winnie&Walter in black and used foam squares to prop it up for dimension. Finally, I added some sequins for some added sparkle! Thanks for stopping by! [Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set,  Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card!     I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. In hindsight, I wish I had used a smooth white cardstock instead, as it makes the coloring look a little messier than I...

[Watercolor Anemones] Thinking of you

This was one of the first cards I created using layering stamps sets! It used the layering stamp set, Watercolor Anemones, from WPlus9. I thought I'd experiment with using the same color layered multiple times for the flowers instead of using various layering colors. I love the subtle effect it gives! I added a few Nuvo drops on top and topped it off with a "sending you love" sentiment. This can be used for multiple occasions!

[All the Colors] Just saying hello

I really loved all the color in this card, and the embossing. Never enough embossing :)  I started off with some white watercolor paper, and painted 6 colored squares with watercolor. I tried to keep in mind that messy was part of the beauty when it came to this card! When it dried, I used the hearts from the "Sending You" stamp set from Winnie & Walter, and stamped with matching inks on top of the colored squares. I used an embossing pen and wrote some sentiments on different colored cardstock strips and embossed with a matte white embossing powder! Added a few layers of different color cardstock for some extra fun and glued it on a card front! Fun and Done!
