I decided to take a whimsical, colorful spin on the "Christmas Unicorn" stampset. I ink blended the background with Distress Oxides (masked the design using masking tape). I then used glittery silver washi tape in between the colors to create a fun background! Check out my Instagram for a reel on how I made the background :)! 

I colored in the unicorn with alcohol markers, and heat embossed the unicorn horn in gold. I propped it up with some foam tape and mounted it on bright hot pink cardstock! I used glittery white embossing powder to create the image and mounted that on the panel as well with foam tape!

[Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set,  Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card!     I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. All About Layering 3: AECP

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!! I was recently accepted into the Altenew Educator Certification Program and can’t think of a better way to start off the year!  I think anyone who is a floral lover knows that Altenew has some of THE best stamps, dies and stencils.
