[SOFT FLORAL] Birthday card

 


I've seen lots of beautiful cards made using layered stencils. I came across this Sweet Spring Stencil from AltNew. I used Distress Oxides in Bundled Sage, Evergreen Bough, Tattered Rose, and Abandonded Coral with blending brushes to create the stenciled flowers. I stamped the sentiment in intense black and mounted on some patterned pastel blue cardstock. Finally, I embellished with some pastel enamel dots.

    The soft coral roses are so lovely! One of my favorite colors! And I love how you stenciled the beautiful floral cluster twice to fill the panel! Thank you so much for playing with us at Seize the Birthday!

[Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set,  Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card!     I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. All About Layering 3: AECP

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!! I was recently accepted into the Altenew Educator Certification Program and can’t think of a better way to start off the year!  I think anyone who is a floral lover knows that Altenew has some of THE best stamps, dies and stencils.
