[All the Colors] Just saying hello

I really loved all the color in this card, and the embossing. Never enough embossing :)

I started off with some white watercolor paper, and painted 6 colored squares with watercolor. I tried to keep in mind that messy was part of the beauty when it came to this card! When it dried, I used the hearts from the "Sending You" stamp set from Winnie & Walter, and stamped with matching inks on top of the colored squares. I used an embossing pen and wrote some sentiments on different colored cardstock strips and embossed with a matte white embossing powder! Added a few layers of different color cardstock for some extra fun and glued it on a card front! Fun and Done!

[Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set, Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card! I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. Lime All Yours

Hey all! I'm here sharing today's card with Time for Tea Designs! I used the Squeeze the Day stampset to create this citrus filled card! To create this card, I first took an A2 white panel and stamped the row of citrus fruits in yellow, orange, and green in an alternating pattern. This will be our background. Next, I stamped three citrus wedges (I decided to make mine limes) and one circle citrus. I colored them in various shades of green and yellow-green to resemble limes. After coloring and diecutting these out, I placed them on the left side of the panel with foam tape for dimension. I stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder on a black cardstock for contrast. This is my favorite way to show sentiments (if you can't tell already!) [Hello Beautiful] Patterned Paper Series #1

Okay, I will admit I am a girly girl. and this card made me all kinds of happy. I came across this freebie from All Dressed Up Stamps and immediately had so many ideas. I first gravitated towards a solid cardstock as my mounting base but then decided to have some fun with patterned cardstock. I have lots of patterns but find myself being too afraid to mix and match patterns. Hence, explaining the origin of my "Patterned Paper Series." I colored in the digital image using alcohol markers on white cardstock. I had a patterned paperpad from Recollections called "Get Glam" and used one of the "hello beautiful" sentiments that was already printed on the paper. I attached it with some foam squares to give a little added dimension. Easy right?! I mounted it on a hot pink cardstock and then mounted the whole set on a white and black polka dot cardstock from the same paperpad.
