[Quilter's Sampler] Thinking of You


 I had this "Quilter's Sampler"stampset from PaperTray Ink in my collection and haven't played around with it recently so decided to give it a shot today. I stamped a pattern in black ink and colored it in using Prismacolor colored pencils. I cut it out and mounted in on some orange cardstock for some contrast. I decided to make the whole card panel a royal blue to complement the orange. I had this washi tape in my collection which I felt filled the blank space underneath the stamped image nicely. Lastly, I embellished with these enamel dots that I just bought and I love these almost as much as sequins. Almost :).

All About Layering 3: AECP

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!! I was recently accepted into the Altenew Educator Certification Program and can’t think of a better way to start off the year!  I think anyone who is a floral lover knows that Altenew has some of THE best stamps, dies and stencils. It was one of the first brands I purchased when I started out my paper crafting journey. Of course, they have so much more than florals in their shop and I am so excited to dive into this process. [Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set,  Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card!     I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils.
