MFT Color Challenge: You make me Hoppy

Hey all! I'm jumping in this week to participate in the MFT color challenge. The colors this week were:

These colors gave me ALL the spring vibes! I had this watercolor stamp in my stash that I had never used before so I used various shaded of green, yellow and blue to create the background. I wanted it to loosely resemble a landscape.

I then stamped,die cut and colored a frog, lily pad and flower from the "You make me Hoppy" stampset and topped it out with a sentiment.

I think this turned out so fun and bright!

Hey all! Valentine's Day is right around the corner! I created this card by cutting paper strips from the "Be Mine" Paper pad and staggering them on the left side. Then I stamped the "Salt&Pepper" stamp and sentiment using Detail Ink in Raven and colored it in with alcohol markers. Thanks for stopping by! All About Layering 3: AECP

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!! I was recently accepted into the Altenew Educator Certification Program and can’t think of a better way to start off the year! I think anyone who is a floral lover knows that Altenew has some of THE best stamps, dies and stencils. It was one of the first brands I purchased when I started out my paper crafting journey. Of course, they have so much more than florals in their shop and I am so excited to dive into this process. I’ve already started some of the classes and it has really reinvigorated my passion for crafting and card making. [Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set, Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card! I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. In hindsight, I wish I had used a smooth white cardstock instead, as it makes the coloring look a little messier than I...
