Hey all! I’m back with another card for my AECP journey! Today, I am showing a card inspired by the “For the Guys” class taught by Jennifer Rzasa. I think most of us can agree that masculine cards are HARD. Luckily, the techniques taught in this class made it easy to put this card together!
I used the “Geometric” technique discussed in the course and used the Grid Stencil to create the background. I originally wanted to ink blend but then I decided to use the Acrylic Markers. I really wanted that deep, saturated look and these markers were perfect! They are very opaque and loved the color range. I used shades of blue, gray and black and colored them randomly to create the background.
For the sentiment, I used the Birthday Wishes stampset. I did a light stamping of numbers to accent the birthday sentiment. I mounted the card panel on black cardstock to finish off the card!
