There is a new release at Not2Shabby shop! Love these images cute, unique images! They are perfect for spring and Mother's Day coming up! For this card I used the teapot and teacup image and colored it in with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I used Catherine Pooler Ink in "Do Si Do" to create the soft blended background (also available at the Not2Shabby shop!). I gold embossed some accents on the pot and mug to add a little glimmer :)
I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set, Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card! I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils.
