[Party Cats] DT: The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #271




Hey everyone! Today I am sharing my DT project for The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog. The theme is "Anything Goes" sponsored by Digi Doodle Studio. Head on over to the blog and join the fun! Leave a comment if you submit a card, I'd love to see your entry! 

I chose the "Party Cats" image by DigiDoodles! I colored in the image with my very loved alcohol markers. 

 I felt it still needed a little something extra, so I reprinted the image and cut out some accents (balloons, and the party blowouts) and propped them up with some foam tape. I also embossed the tops of the party hats for some extra glitter!



I stamped the "it's your birthday" sentiment three times on pink and teal cardstock and then aligned it vertically. Lastly, I mounted it on a yellow cardstock to really make it pop!

Lime All Yours

Hey all! I'm here sharing today's card with  Time for Tea Designs! I used the Squeeze the Day stampset to create this citrus filled card!  To create this card, I first took an A2 white panel and stamped the row of citrus fruits in yellow, orange, and green in an alternating pattern. This will be our background. Next, I stamped three citrus wedges (I decided to make mine limes) and one circle citrus. I colored them in various shades of green and yellow-green to resemble limes. After coloring and diecutting these out, I placed them on the left side of the panel with foam tape for dimension. I stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder on a black cardstock for contrast. This is my favorite way to show sentiments (if you can't tell already!) Lastly I added some dots of yellow and green on the left for some added interest. Thanks for stopping by! Jill

[Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set,  Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card!     I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. Adult Sippy Cup: Pajama Crafter Stamps

Hey all! Happy Wednesday! I'm shaking things up today with a shaker card using the  Adult Sippy Cup  die from Pajama Crafter Stamps.
