[Leave a Little Sparkle] Sassy and Crafty Promo #1

Sassy and Crafty is the lovely sponsor this week at Passionate Paper Crafters and Family Facebook Group! We have lots of fun and a special discount just for this promo!

There were so many stamps to choose from- I decided on the "Never Grow Up" stampset!
When I saw this set, I started to imagine lots of shine and glitter.

Enter--> Foiling!

 I don't have a foiling machine..nor I do I plan to buy one soon but I came across lots of no-heat foiling techniques using iCraft Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo. I used the "Mermaid Tails" Stencil and applied the Transfer Gel Duo. After letting it dry until it was clear, I took pink foil and laid it on top then peeled it off. I like the textured effect this gave, to give a more solid look, I think I would need to add more gel.

I wanted to go for a "no line" coloring effect. So I stamped the two fairies in a light brown/tan ink from Stampin' Up. I colored the images in with colored pencil and fussy cut it out. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and finished off the card with some sequins for sparkle!

[Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set,  Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card!     I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. In hindsight, I wish I had used a smooth white cardstock instead, as it makes the coloring look a little messier than I...

Lime All Yours

Hey all! I'm here sharing today's card with  Time for Tea Designs! I used the Squeeze the Day stampset to create this citrus filled card!  To create this card, I first took an A2 white panel and stamped the row of citrus fruits in yellow, orange, and green in an alternating pattern. This will be our background. Next, I stamped three citrus wedges (I decided to make mine limes) and one circle citrus. I colored them in various shades of green and yellow-green to resemble limes. After coloring and diecutting these out, I placed them on the left side of the panel with foam tape for dimension. I stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder on a black cardstock for contrast. This is my favorite way to show sentiments (if you can't tell already!) Lastly I added some dots of yellow and green on the left for some added interest. Thanks for stopping by! Jill

Adult Sippy Cup: Pajama Crafter Stamps

Hey all! Happy Wednesday! I'm shaking things up today with a shaker card using the  Adult Sippy Cup  die from Pajama Crafter Stamps. First, I did some "ink smooshing" on the background to create a watercolor, marbled look. I then topped off the card with sentiments from the " Chuggin On " stampset.  Thanks for stopping by! Jill
