[Playful Animals] Kid's Card

I was looking through my stash and realized there was a shortage of “kid-friendly” cards...you know with fun coloring, colors and images. I came across this stamp set by Hero Arts “Playful Animals” which seemed like the perfect set to make a cute card!

I stamped the images in black ink on white card stock and colored them using my Prismacolor colored pencil. I also stamped the sentiment phrases from the same stamped set..

For a little extra fun, I stamped a few animals on a strip of white cardstock and mounted it on a forest green cardstock. I fussy cute two leaves that I stamped and colored and propped them up with foam tape.

[Salt and Pepper] Brutus Monroe

Hey all! Valentine's Day is right around the corner! I created this card by cutting paper strips from the "Be Mine" Paper pad and staggering them on the left side. Then I stamped the "Salt&Pepper" stamp and sentiment using Detail Ink in Raven and colored it in with alcohol markers. Thanks for stopping by! [Oceans of Joy] Multi-Occasion Card

I am still building my cardmaking collection, and it is SO easy to get into the blackhole of buying endless craft supplies. I really need to stop myself. I came across this adorable ocean themed stamp set, Oceans of Joy , from Sunny Studio Stamps! Head on over to my Instagram to see a reel on how I made this card! I wanted to create a fun wavey background so I took some scrap cardstock and cut a "wave" pattern and used it as my stencil with a blending sponge and my Stampin' Up spot inks. I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to add more texture so I purposefully blended with differing pressures to get some texture in the background. I can't wait to make and use more stencils in my cardmaking. I stamped the sentiment, whale, crab, and water images using my misty on some textured white cardstock and colored in using my Prismacolor colored pencils. All About Layering 3: AECP

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!! I was recently accepted into the Altenew Educator Certification Program and can’t think of a better way to start off the year! I think anyone who is a floral lover knows that Altenew has some of THE best stamps, dies and stencils. It was one of the first brands I purchased when I started out my paper crafting journey.
