A fun winter themed card using Dew Drops!

Paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques. Especially to use all of the leftover scraps and create a fun color palette! I used a paper trimmer to create paper strips and then glued them on a white cardstock panel.     I diecut a circle out of the center and used foam tape to give it a little dimension to make the sentiment POP!       Lastly, I use clear, white and light blue dew drops to add more dimension and embellish the card. I love how these colors pair together to resemble snow flakes!                                                    Thanks for stopping by! AlteNew Inspiration Challenge | October 2022

I haven't entered a monthly challenge in a long time and was inspired by the  October 2022 Inspiration Challenge | Birthday Card with a Bold Background  from Altenew! I definitely went outside my comfort zone with some of the card elements and watercoloring but love how it turned out!  The inspiration photo is below:                                                         I used darker shades of pink, a lighter gray and brought in some (okay,  A LOT of) gold to tie it all together! The foundation of my BOLD background was the  Celebrate Today stampset  by Altenew. I stamped it various times and did some "messy" watercoloring. I love the free, unstructured look as opposed to the alcohol marker look I am so used to. I attached all the florals and greenery on a striped foil panel and used the ...

Creating a holiday background using Dew Drops!

Happy Monday! I am starting to get working on some holiday cards and got to play around with some of my holiday stamp sets!  First, I created a fun stamped background in red and green.  Then, I stamped the sentiment in black in the center of the stamp.  Lastly, I embellished with green and red Dew Drops around the background to create a fun dimensional background!  Thanks for stopping by! [Sending Sunshine] MFT Birthday card

Happy Monday! I was having a bit of a creative rut and a sketch challenge is usually the perfect solution. I entered this card in the  MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge  using the "Paradise Pals" stampset. First, I inkblended the yellow background and splattered some red and orange paint. I colored in the stamps using alcohol markers and arranged them using inspiration from the sketch challenge. Thanks for stopping by! Follow me on  Instagram  for more cards, reels and crafty fun! Raindrops with Tear Dew Drops!

Happy Monday!! I am here with another card using Robin's Nest Dew Drops!  The teardrop dew drops resemble raindrops PERFECTLY! I embellished this little note card with blue tearshaped dew drops and love the extra dimension and texture it gives! I cut out clouds using pattered paper and embellished the sentiment in white and ink blended the background to give it a little border. Love how it turned out!  Thanks for stopping by! [BIRTHDAY XOXO]

Happy Saturday! We are off to a "pink themed" cocktail birthday party tonight! I put together this sweet (and pink) birthday card using the September Simon Says Stamp card kit! I've also lately been really obsessed with coordinating the card insides too! I used to just leave them blank 🙈 ! What do you all do with the inside of your cards?                                                        Thanks for stopping by! Follow me on  Instagram  for more cards, reels and crafty fun!

Dimensional background using Dew Drops!

Hey everyone! For today's card I decided to use a background stamp and accent it with various Dew Drops! I love the dimensional look it gives! First, I chose a blue and purple ink and stamped the background image using both of the inks (some areas I did blue and others purple) I accented parts of the butterfly in the background with Moonstone diamond Dew Drops, and Indigo diamond dew drops.  Then I added two sentiments and used Black dew drops to some more interest!
