Tiny Treasure Workshop

  Paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques. Especially to use all of the leftover scraps and create a fun color palette! I used a paper trimmer to create paper strips and then glued them on a white cardstock panel.     I diecut a circle out of the center and used foam tape to give it a little dimension to make the sentiment POP!       Lastly, I use clear, white and light blue dew drops to add more dimension and embellish the card. I love how these colors pair together to resemble snow flakes!                                                    Thanks for stopping by! I haven't entered a monthly challenge in a long time and was inspired by the  October 2022 Inspiration Challenge | Birthday Card with a Bold Background  from Altenew! I definitely went outside my comfort zone with some of the card elements and watercoloring but love how it turned out!  The inspiration photo is below:                                                         I used darker shades of pink, a lighter gray and brought in some (okay,  A LOT of) gold to tie it all together! The foundation of my BOLD background was the  Celebrate Today stampset  by Altenew. I stamped it various times and did some "messy" watercoloring.   Happy Monday! I am starting to get working on some holiday cards and got to play around with some of my holiday stamp sets!  First, I created a fun stamped background in red and green.  Then, I stamped the sentiment in black in the center of the stamp.  Lastly, I embellished with green and red Dew Drops around the background to create a fun dimensional background!  Thanks for stopping by!
