Tiny Treasure Workshop

  Hey everyone! I finally got the January 2022 Card Kit for Simon Says Stamp and it is filled with winter goodness! The weather here in Minnesota is in the negatives which means I am staying put indoors right in my craft room until Spring comes around! I used the patterned paper included in the kit as a background and used Distress Oxide in "Broken China" to do a little ink blending on the top. I stamped a snowman and tree and colored in with alcohol markers and fussy cut it out. I tore some white cardstock for a snow effect and added some shimmer Nuvo drop in clear to give the glistening snow effect!  This was my first time using a background stamp, believe it or not! I used the "Vintage Baubles" background stamp from Catherine Pooler and my trust MISTI to get a crisp black outline. I decided to gold emboss a few additional ornaments and color them with alcohol markers to make them really pop!   I finally got to dig in my Waffleflower haul from last month. I used the  Stencil n Stamp: Lighthouse  for this lovely card. I inkblended the background using distress oxides and then stenciled the silhouette using black oxide ink. I stamped a little foliage in the bottom as well as the sentiment. Hey everyone! We have another lovely challenge at  The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog ! The theme for this challenge is "Use some of your favorites"  sponsored by  Sheepski Designs  and  Scribbles Designs I recently have LOVED using my distress Oxides and I used the "Holiday Stripes" stencil to create this striped background. I  tend to reach for my distress oxides over other stamp inks recently.  I colored in the image using alcohol markers (which is also another one of my favorite materials!). I used a white gel pen to add some accents! I hand wrote the sentiment on some black cardstock that I thought was really fun and appropriate :)! I've used this stencil SO MUCH- it's so versatile! I colored in the image with my Spectrum Noir markers and propped it up with some foam tape. I added some enamel dots as embellishments!   Hey everyone! Time for another challenge at   Gem of A Craft Challenge   with  Polkadoodles ! As always, the theme is ANYTHING GOES!  Gnomes are a very fun and, in my eyes, a requirement for any holiday card collection! I colored in this  Gnometastic Celebration Balloons  with alcohol markers and cut it out. I used Distress Oxides to ink blend a fading green background and propped up the gnome with foam squares. I used some pattered paper from the  Winnie Christmas Wishes  Digi Paper pack to create a decorative strip underneath the gnome. Leave a comment if you submit a card, I'd love to see your entry!  This stamp,  My Besties Tiny Supersaurus INO -Mite Birthday Bo y , is so much fun! Perfect for a kid's card-which if you don't know by now, I am ALWAYS looking for fitting images for them. I colored in this image using my Spectrum Noir markers and cut out a semi circle shape. I ink blended the background with distress ink and decided to turn the sentiment into a shaker element.
